As you know I am selling pre paid legal plan. Sometime it is easy and sometime it is hard. But that is any business. I want to answer to some of the common that come across to me. For the Discount health card, well, its supposed to give you a 10% up to 80% break on your medical bills. However, I discovered, if you go to a doctor or hospital and you tell them you'll pay them directly, they will charge you 10% to 80% of the bill. Then why am I paying $11.95 a month for a discount health card? And how often do we go to the doctor. For myself, my last visit to a medical doctor was 5 years ago.For Health Insurance, you pay $74.30 a month. It is a PPO Deductible of $10,000.00 & after a 30% deductible, an out of pocket limit of $5,000.00, a $40.00 copay for the first 6 visits, a 30% coinsurance after deductible, and a prescription drug generic with a $15.00 copay. Well, I can go on and on. Mostly, we wait until the last minute to see a doctor and this visit is usually once a year for check up.Now, Prepaid Legal will cost only $16.00 a month. When I first became a member, I didn't see the need for it and for the first year I really didn't use it. I could have used it 6 times that year, but I kept forgetting I had the plan. This was not a smart move on my part. However, prior to cancelling, I decided to make my Will (this is free when you sign up for the Pre-Paid Legal). And I also used Pre-Paid Legal to review my car leasing contracts. When I brought my home to Atlanta I needed a lawyer to close the deal and Pre-Paid Legal was a lot cheaper than using a lawyer my loan officer recommended. As a result, I realized in 1 year, I needed Pre-Paid Legal more than I needed a doctor. Now, just think about this for moment, we all can use some legal advice, but we don't seek it because the attorney's fees are costly.
